The Last Relic
Society will never change. Society watches TV.
If lost film critic Alexei Medvedev was mostly the sole silent rebel on Moscow’s squares, then a much larger group of relentless fighters gathers in Yekaterinburg, the fourth largest city in the occupant country. Vocal activists and familiar protesters respond to propaganda, censorship, and corruption, and despised Putinism. Divided by disagreements, but united by a common cause despite counterattacks.
Viktor is convicted for supporting Catalonia. Rafail is sentenced for publicly reading the Constitution. Human rights activist Galina hopes for a solution to minimise the brainwashing propaganda. Elena believes in democracy and freedom. Anatoly has no doubts about his homeland's corruption. Untamed young student Igor willingly and bravely attends all rallies and refuses to recognise the war criminal president as their Tsar!
The last Tsar Nicholas II was executed in Yekaterinburg. His children were secretly buried separately and only found in 1978. A false sense of greatness drives the occupant empire, which exists on fear, lies and showing off. The sacred May Day approaches with another parade performance of the so-called greatest army in the world. Exchanging Putin for Navalny will not be enough. A sense of revanche will always be in the air.
