Izzy, Chester, Zoe, Kyle, Jesse and Babs live in the city. They are friends and know each other from the club run by Richard, who teaches them camp skills. It‘s finally summer and kids can‘t wait to get to the Animalies camp - out of the parent‘s sight, at last! However it turns out it won‘t be easy to get there. Not because they happen to have physical disabilities, but because they‘re typical pre-teens!
The intention behind the people who created this animation is to open a space for discussion with children about what privilege is. Are we aware of our privileges? What do we conceive of when we don't handle something that comes easily to others? What to do when we see someone struggling with a challenge that is not a problem for us? The story of the beetles inspires the search for answers to these questions.
In a world of ever-growing stones a boy lives with his grandmother in a garden house. When he notices that the stones will destroy their home he tries to stop them - but all his efforts fail. In the end, despite the destruction, they find a way to build something new together.
