Alexis Morante is a Spanish filmmakers who has directed feature-length fiction films, documentaries, short films, music videos and TV commercials. He has been awarded with a Grammy Latino and internationally at several film festivals and has also received nominations to Goya Awards, Platino Awards, Forqué and ASECAN. His latest films have more than 100 international prizes and more than 300 official selections. Besides, he has won twice the FNAC New Talent award at Malaga Film Festival. He has directed more than ten commercials for A-list brands and more than thirty music videos for international artists, which has been broadcast at TV in both Europe and America, accumulating more than 100 millions views in Youtube. As a film director, he has directed the coming-of-age "El universo de Óliver" ("Oliver's Universe"), selected at the 26th Black Nights Film Festival, Youth and Children’s Films sub-programme and four feature-length documentaries: "Héroes: Silencio y Rock and Roll" theatrically released in Spain and worldwide as a Netflix Original (TopTen most-watched content in Spain and Latin-America in the platform in the first weeks of release) and nominated to Best Documentary at the Spanish Film Academy Awards; "Camarón: Flamenco y Revolución" released in more than 90 cinemas in Spain and worldwide at Netflix, critically acclaimed at Malaga Film Festival and nominated to Best Documentary Film at Goya Awards 2019; "Sanz: lo que fui es lo que soy" released in Spain and Latin America (Top Ten in its first week at the movies) and "Bunbury: El Camino más Largo", internationally distributed by Eagle Rock Entertainment. He has also written and directed critically acclaimed short films as "Bla Bla Bla" (nominated to Best Live Action Short FIlm Spanish Film Academy Awards), "Matador on the Road" and "Voltereta".
