PÖFF Shorts is a sub-festival of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival that focuses on showcasing short films and animations, aiming to offer a diverse, interesting, and alternative program. The festival period, along with its preparation, is intense and offers many challenges, but together with the diligent and friendly Shorts team, it brings a unique and unforgettable event to audiences and filmmakers!

You are suitable for the PÖFF Shorts guest department internship if you are responsible, an excellent communicator, empathetic, enthusiastic, proactive, and quick to adapt to changing circumstances. A fondness for spreadsheets is a plus.
The PÖFF Shorts guest team (including several volunteers) has been working together since the time when PÖFF Shorts was still known as Sleepwalkers and Animated Dreams. Our main goal is to provide guests with fast and clear communication and make them feel at home at our festival. The festival time is always busy, which makes it even more important for us to support and take care of each other. We look for solutions, laugh together, and if there is one team whose motto could be "come to the dark side, we have cookies," it would be us – naturally, it has become a tradition that we always have cookies.

The main tasks of the Shorts Industry Shortcut intern are:
We are looking for someone who has a knowledge of and interest in the (short) film industry, knowledge of the English language, flexibility, motivation, wish to expand knowledge on the short film industry, people skills, design/marketing skills, time management skills, reliability.
Led by someone with over 15 years of experience in the festival world, the SIS team is made up of one person, the Head of Industry whose goal is to create the POFF Shorts Industry program in the smartest and most accessible way to the filmmakers and film professionals.

Main tasks for the Animation Administravtive Internship include:
We’re looking for someone who has interest in media/communication/PR, with a background in such disciplines and/or film. Great time management skills, swift and reliable communication and organizational skills are must for this role!
The Animation programming team is a team with a professional/ University background in animation and filmmaking. It selects the most excellent indie animation shorts of all techniques and styles to be presented in the November festival.
