Videographer internship

The main tasks of a videography intern:

• before the festival, support the social media team in creating video content;
• during the festival, visit the festival's biggest premieres, receptions, events and the festival area and capture the excitement of the festival as video material;
• the video content will be used on social media and, if possible, also for putting together an aftermovie.

You are a suitable candidate for the PÖFF videography internship if you have an interest in filming, persistence, a keen eye, and a desire to capture the best emotions and atmosphere of the festival. Having your own camera is a plus.

Internship period: September - November 2025

PÖFF is looking for an editing wizard!
If you’re more drawn to timelines than camera angles and love telling stories through editing, this might be the perfect place for you. We’re looking for a video editing intern to help craft engaging and meaningful stories from the moments captured during the festival.

Editing internship

We’d love to have you on our video team if you enjoy editing and have prior experience with Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or other video editing software. You have a good eye for story rhythm and structure, patience for working with details, and the ability to take initiative. You’re not afraid to ask questions when needed, but you’re also capable of finding solutions independently.

Your responsibilities as an editor will include:

• editing content before and during the festival (daily recaps, teasers, highlight reels);
• identifying the best moments from raw footage and creating a rhythmic, emotional narrative through sound and visuals;
• making edits and adjustments based on feedback;
• sorting and categorizing footage, and providing feedback to the video team;
• adding sound, music, graphics, and simple text animations to videos
• spotting and correcting errors before exporting the final cut.

PÖFF is looking for a photography-hunt! Photography team works together to ensure the festival's visual coverage is consistently high-quality. Our crew includes photographers from a wide range of backgrounds, interests, and experience levels — from top professionals in Estonia to young talents with a good eye who are just starting to explore the field.

Photographer internship

As a photography intern at PÖFF, you'll have the opportunity to learn from your colleagues while also building your own portfolio by capturing an A-class film festival: stars, parties, premieres, award ceremonies, and all the surrounding buzz.

Main tasks for photography intern:

• photographing events during the festival (red carpet premieres, post-screening Q&As, parties, etc.);
• editing your photos and uploading them to Flickr;
• specific assignments will be agreed upon based on your interests in photography.

You’re a great fit for this position if you have your own camera and editing software, and you're motivated to capture the atmosphere and emotions at public events. Confidence in communicating both in Estonian and English is a plus.
