Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event is a big part of the Black Nights Film Festival – it brings together film industry professionals from all over the world, giving them an opportunity to learn, network and find new potential collaborations. This year’s Industry will take place from the 14th to the 21st of November in the Nordic Hotel Forum. We have an extensive programme of conferences, project pitches, masterclasses, seminars, networking meetings, etc.

Social Media Intern (videos & reels)

You’ll be joining Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event’s small but dynamic marketing and communication team of three people. We work closely with all departments across the Industry platform (such as our series market TV Beats, our film market, Just Film Industry Days, Shorts Industry Shortcut, Discovery Campus, variety of labs and development programmes, and of course, we collaborate closely with the Black Nights Film Festival team).

We’re looking for someone with a sharp eye, quick hands, and a passion for capturing moments in motion. Your focus will be on creating short-form video content and dynamic stories (both from previously recorded material and by capturing new material during the event) for our social media channels during the lead-up to and throughout Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event.

Your tasks will include:

• assisting in planning and scheduling video and story content in the lead-up to and throughout the event;
• supporting the team in maintaining a consistent, creative, and engaging presence across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms;
• creating ticket sales promotion videos using material from previous editions;
• producing daily event highlight Reels and Stories, capturing the atmosphere and key moments;
• assembling project pitch montages from recorded pitching sessions for use in stories and other content;
• spotting and seizing opportunities to film interesting moments, gather short interviews, and get quotes from speakers, guests, and participants on the spot.

Expectations for the intern:

• can-do attitude & strong communicator – You’re not afraid to approach people, ask questions, or jump into the action to get the content you need.
• creatively independent – You bring your own ideas to the table and enjoy finding fresh, fun ways to capture and share what’s happening.
• visually literate – You’re confident with basic video editing tools (for Reels, stories, etc.) and understand how to shoot content that works for different platforms.
• organised and reliable – You’re good at managing your time, staying calm in a fast-paced environment, and hitting deadlines, especially during event week.
• team player with initiative – You work well with others, adapt quickly, and enjoy contributing to a supportive, creative team.

As a Social Media Intern, you’ll play an active role in shaping and sharing the voice of Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Your tasks will include:

• assisting in planning and scheduling content in the lead-up to and during the event
• supporting the team in maintaining a consistent and compelling online presence throughout the event
  -project and talent introductions
• accreditation and day ticket sales promotion
• sharing relevant news and partner announcements
• Industry schedule highlights and daily updates
• event coverage posts with photos and key moments.

Expectations for the intern:

• creatively independent – You're confident with bringing your own ideas to the table to better the outcome and can craft posts without relying on AI to do the work for you (though it’s fine to use it for brainstorming)
• visually literate – You’re comfortable with basic design work, ideally using Canva
• organised and reliable – You can manage your time well, meet deadlines, and handle several tasks at once, especially during busy event days (14-21 November)
• team player with initiative – You’re proactive, and enjoy being part of a collaborative environment.

Production

The Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event production team is responsible for ensuring that the most important discussions, interviews and workshops of the conference reach the (online) broadcast in a timely and high-quality manner and are viewable. We record about 50 TV programs in live multicam mode during the week.

Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event is looking for interns for its production team for the festival!

We are offering internships for :

• set artist (main stage set-up);
• multicam directors;
• (TV) operators;
• sound engineer assistants;
• production assistants;
• makeup artists.

Internship period: November 14-21, 2025
Application deadline: October 24th, 2025
This is an unpaid internship.
