Tallink has been a long-time supporter of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF). We spoke with Ave Svarts, a member of Tallink Hotels' management board, to learn more about this dynamic partnership.

Why is Tallink supporting the cultural sector today?

We also asked what kind of film could be made about Tallink Hotels. According to Svarts, as in recent years, the hotel business could be depicted as a disaster film, a horror, or an adventure flick.
"But the most fitting genre might actually be a dramedy, where real-life situations lead to relatable moments and side-splitting laughter, because all sorts of things happen in hotels! The main characters would definitely be of quirky and endearing personalities, optimism and sense of humour would carry them even through the toughest moments. They’d manage to find a way out of the most impossible and absurd situations," says Svarts.
