Why do you support PÖFF?
PÖFF is one of the best things to come out of Estonia in this century, and as a local brand that went global, supporting it is a no-brainer. But for us, it goes beyond sticking a logo on a website; we took it a step further and helped to upgrade the digital side of the festival as part of our partnership. Supporting PÖFF gives us a chance to use our daily engineering work to help something cultural, entertaining, and local to Estonia.
Why is culture important?
With the new wave of pocket media, all of us spend our days staring at screens, being mobile, and doing everything on the go. It’s easy to get locked into that bubble. Culture, especially cinema, snaps you out of it. It forces you to sit down in a dark room for two hours, look at someone else's life, and think differently for a moment. You need that kind of perspective to stay grounded, both as individuals and as a business community.
What is your most memorable PÖFF or film experience?
From last year's festival, LifeLike (Bir arada yalnız, directed by Ali Vatansever) really stood out to me. It won Best Director, and deservedly so. The movie looks at VR avatars, social media, and how hard it is to build real human connections inside digital spaces. Coming from the tech world, watching a film that tackles that exact balance between screen life and real life hit close to home.
What does being a PÖFF partner say about your company?
It shows that we can handle high-stakes pressure. When millions of visits hit a platform during a short festival window, there's zero room for technical mistakes. If the system fails, people can't buy tickets, and the festival suffers. Handling PÖFF’s digital platform proves that Introduct builds software that holds up under heavy, real-world traffic.

What do you hope people will take away from this year’s festival?
This is PÖFF’s 30th anniversary, which is huge for the event. I hope people take advantage of it: get out of the house, grab a ticket, watch great films from across the world, and enjoy the atmosphere during our dark November nights. And from our side, I hope every single person finds their movie and buys their ticket without a single glitch along the way.
