Which values unite your company and PÖFF?
Caffeine and PÖFF are united above all by the courage to stand out, openness to new ideas and the desire to offer people memorable experiences. PÖFF brings audiences films that surprise, broaden their view of the world and provoke thought. At Caffeine, we also value creativity and the courage to experiment – whether it’s new flavours, exciting coffee experiences or great events.
Another important shared value is people and community. PÖFF connects people through the art of film, while Caffeine does so through good coffee and shared moments. Both bring people together, creating opportunities for new encounters and inspiring conversations. We believe it is exactly these moments that make everyday life more enjoyable, especially on autumn evenings.
How has the cooperation with PÖFF influenced your team, company culture or Employee motivation?
At Caffeine, we value creativity, new ideas and people who have the courage to bring them to life. It is important to us that everyday work also leaves room for experimenting, developing and gaining new experiences. The cooperation with PÖFF fits this mindset very well, as the festival embodies exactly the kind of bold and open attitude that we value in our own team.
It also gives us the opportunity to be part of one of Estonia’s most important international cultural events. We believe that exposure to culture and film experiences brings fresh ideas that can be carried over into everyday work.
Do you have a special memory or an emotional experience connected with PÖFF, either at company or personal level?
What makes PÖFF special is, first of all, its atmosphere. The dark November evenings, the anticipation before the film begins and, of course, the fascinating stories from different corners of the world. The best films are the ones that surprise you, make you think and leave you wanting to keep discussing them long after the screening.
This is where a strong connection with café culture emerges. Encounters often don’t end with the closing credits. Whether the film experience is positive or negative, there is often a desire to discuss what you have seen and sit down together in a café. That is one of the lovely added values of cultural experiences – the chance to exchange impressions and thoughts with friends and loved ones over a cup of coffee after the film.
In your view, what role could cultural partnerships play in the business world of the future, and why is this important to you?
We believe that the role of companies in society increasingly extends beyond products and services. People care about which values brands represent and what they contribute to. Cultural partnerships give companies the opportunity to support creativity, diversity and new ideas, and to help valuable cultural experiences reach as many people as possible.
For Caffeine, it is important to be part of the community and of people’s everyday lives. That is why we see the cooperation with PÖFF as something more than just a meeting of two brands. It is an opportunity to support an event that brings stories from around the world to Estonia, broadens horizons and connects people.
