PÖFF RECOMMENDS

Dark nights arrive early in Estonia, and that’s when the wolves come out. In the evenings, they gather at Uus Laine to show off their shiny coat, share their daily catch of films with other wolves and sharpen their fangs together in the moonlight. Uus Laine is the festival club throughout PÖFF, so if you do not know what to do with your evening, here, you will find someone who will enjoy discussing what you have seen at the cinemas. But there are many well-known venues, bars and clubs filled with good music and charming wolves to explore in the evenings.

However, if you are a Southern wolf who prefers a warmer climate and your adventures don’t take you to Tallinn, then PÖFF Tartu offers Gustav, Vapiano, and Tokumaru. Of course, let’s not forget that the PÖFF Tartu home bar is always classy and music-filled KIVI. Find your pack, you know where to start now – wolves will recognise each other!

Hey, you, come and howl with the wolves!

Every true PÖFF wolf knows to howl for the great, precise, meticulous, and poignant festival films. But no wolf cub plays on an empty stomach and never howls due to hunger. So let the fangs flash and dine with your pack between films with our good partners who offer the best dishes all over Tallinn. Flamm in Rotermann, Frank in the Old Town or Kampani, the gem in Noblessner – there are more choices than tastes. If you’re a lone wolf, you’ll probably find someone like you. It is also worth sharpening your eyes when walking around the city because you can find the PÖFF sticker on the doors of restaurants, cafes, bars, and venues – if you notice this, don’t be afraid to step in, because the sticker marks all the warm, cosy, snug, and friendly wolf dens.
