Submit your film and join the only FIAPF-accredited competitive film festival in Northern Europe!

The 29th edition of the Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) is officially accepting submissions—along with our two exciting sub-festivals: Just Film, dedicated to youth and children’s cinema, and PÖFF Shorts, celebrating the best in animation and short films.

The regular deadline for competitive and non-competitive feature film programs is June 29, 2025. The early bird deadline for PÖFF Shorts is the 1st of July 2025 and for Just Film is June 30, 2025.

The final deadline for submissions to the Black Nights Film Festival and both sub-festivals is August 25.
