The 30th Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) is approaching – and festival passes are now on sale for film lovers eager to make the most of this special anniversary edition.
Taking place in Tallinn and Tartu from 6–22 November 2026, PÖFF will once again bring together outstanding films, filmmakers and audiences from around the world. The first titles from this year’s programme will be announced in early October.
Festival-goers can choose from six different passes: Wolf Pass 6, Wolf Pass 12, Wolf Pass 25, Wolf Pass 40, Patron Wolf Pass and the Just Film Wolfie Pass. Each pass offers a set number of tickets, making it easier and more affordable to experience multiple films across PÖFF and its sub-festivals. Learn more about the passes here
A Wolf Pass allows festival visitors to secure a chosen number of tickets in advance and build their own programme once the films are announced. Compared with purchasing individual tickets, passes offer a more affordable way to enjoy the festival – while the personalised festival badge also provides access to special offers and discounts from PÖFF’s partners.
For those looking for an even more memorable festival experience, the Patron Wolf Pass combines access to the film programme with invitations to some of PÖFF’s most prestigious events, from the opening ceremony to the awards presentation.
By choosing the Patron Wolf Pass, visitors also contribute directly to the future of the festival. Their support helps PÖFF bring outstanding international cinema to Estonia, connect filmmakers with audiences and keep the country’s cultural landscape vibrant and internationally connected.
Film lovers can also support PÖFF with a contribution of their choice, ranging from €10 to €1,000. Every donation helps the festival continue bringing people, stories and cultures together.
The first films from the PÖFF30 programme will be revealed in early October, when pass holders can begin selecting screenings and creating their personal festival schedules.
Ticket sales will open on 6 October, beginning with Just Film. Tickets for the gala premieres of the PÖFF and PÖFF Shorts competition programmes will follow. Discounted tickets will be available until 30 October.
The complete festival programme will go on sale on 31 October, when PÖFF’s information and ticket centres will also open.
