The PÖFF Lifetime Achievement Award went to director Peeter Simm. The Bruno O'Ya Young Actor Scholarship was awarded to Märten Metsaviir.
The PÖFF will screen award-winning films from the world's most renowned festivals, including Pedro Almodóvar's The Side Room, which won the Golden Lion in Venice.
Other likely Oscar contenders include Pablo Larraín's Maria - about the last days of legendary soprano Maria Callas - Brady Corbett 's Brutalist and Edward Berger's Conclave.
