
PÖFF and Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event's international training program Discovery Campus invites young film professionals and students to take part in masterclasses and lectures by internationally recognized mentors!
Among the renowned mentors are costume designer Debra McGuire from the series Friends, director Jessica Hausner, Emmy nominee Miriam Cutler, and others.
Although most of the Discovery Campus masterclasses and workshops are aimed at the 40 young filmmakers selected for the program, there are also public lectures and events that are open to anyone interested. All you need is Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event accreditation or a day pass.
According to Triin Tramberg, the leader of Discovery Campus, the mentors participating in the program and their experiences are generating excitement. "Well-known and respected leaders in the international film world are coming together in Tallinn, and we all have a unique opportunity to hear about their experiences right here. I really hope that both young and experienced filmmakers from Estonia and our neighboring countries will find the opportunity and time to come and learn from their valuable and unique experiences," she adds.
Discovery Campus public lectures on November 19-21:
In addition, public masterclasses and lectures will be held as part of the Discovery Campus sub-program. Focusing on the artistic side of film, Black Room will concentrate on makeup and hairstyling this year. Interested participants are invited to a lecture on November 19 by the iconic Hollywood costume designer Debra McGuire, known for her work on the TV series Friends and The Morning Show.
As part of the Script Poolprogram aimed at young screenwriters, directors, and producers, there are also several public workshops and events:
Music Meets Film brings together composers, directors, producers, and sound designers, focusing on creative collaboration in the film, music, and gaming industries. Interested parties are welcome to attend the following events:

Discovery Campus and its sub-programs' public masterclasses and lectures will take place in Tallinn from November 18 to 21. Lectures and workshops will be held in English.
