On top of the highest mountains on Earth lives a plant that feeds on the most perfect sunlight. It is called the Himalayan flower. Yuku leaves her family to search for this flower of eternal light. She wants to give it to her grandmother who announced that the time has come for her to go with the little blind mole into the meanders of the earth. But to find it, Yuku’s journey will be long and full of obstacles.

Rémi Durin is a graduate of the ENSAV La Cambre animated film workshop, in 2006 Rémi Durin together with three fellow graduates from the same school, set up L’Enclume Animation, an animation studio which makes short films, adverts, long films, video clips, TV series. Since 2009 Rémi has been teaching at the Albert Jacquard CG school in Namur. After his graduation films "Là-haut", "Mademoiselle Chloé", and "Séquence 01 Plan 02", Rémi Durin made "De si près" (2009), a moving tribute to the 14-18 war, "The Scent of Carrots" (2014), an animated musical comedy, co-directed with Arnaud Demuynck, "The Unicorn" (2016) based on the kids book by Martine Bourre, and recently "Big Wolf & Little Wolf" (2018) adapted from the book by Nadine Brun-Cosme and Olivier Tallec. Since 2017, he has developed a feature film for children, "Yuku and the Himalayan Flower", written and co-directed by Arnaud Demuynck.
