Estonian LARP group Reptiilkhanaat is preparing for the year’s biggest event, the Nordic Solstice. There, they embody characters from a fantasy world of their own creation and attempt to break a losing streak from previous years, all while their fictional roleplay world begins to function almost like a real society.

Nineteen-year-old Maia's evening is disrupted by loud music coming from the neighboring apartment. She walks up to her neighbor's door and knocks. The door is opened by Dāvis, a red-haired Latvian wearing a birthday hat, holding a cat in his arms that is wearing the exact same hat. He gestures for Maia to come inside, and in the hope of finally getting some peace and quiet, she steps in.

A young girl finds herself confined in an isolated house on the outskirts of Maharashtra, surrounded by an endless farm, where there is an eerie calm, as if something is being held back. An older woman tends to her with unsettling warmth whilst carrying on with her daily routines as if nothing is out of place. Between shared meals and lingering tensions, the gap between what is seen and what is understood begins to widen.
