Ana throws her life on the instragam and other social networks, where she posts pictures, videos and short animations, together with witty (and lucid) texts. Ana is going through a strange moment. In addition to going through the family conflicts and identity issues typical of her age, she experiences something new. She feels something she does not quite understand, for her close friend Corrales.

Santi Amodeo signs what can be his most free film. A pure exercise of creativity where he teams up with the best accomplices: a group of young debutant actresses (an absolute revelation after casting over 200 participants). Full of talent and freshness, the teenagers bring us, jumping from here to there, to their spontaneous lives in Sevilla which they display on the net, where the boundaries between reality, wishful thinking and fantasy often become blurred.

Shot on Super 16mm and with a variety of textures, “Las Gentiles” dancing of formats keeps the flow through diversity of screens. A note for the exquisite work of the top DOP (and lifetime Amodeo’s collaborator) Alex Catalan, who gives form to this summary of vignettes which is the protagonists' daily life.

Some reality bites, some black humour, sharp dialogues and raw situations make the film look hyper realistic but also pop, arty and filled with a dreamy atmosphere. An exercise of freedom by a talented director who butters us up with just a cool experience (kawaii!!), taking us on a ride with a group of friends you just want to spend more time with, endlessly...
