The Danish Woman
Retired from the Danish Secret Service, Ditte Jensen moves to Reykjavik.
When Ditte Jensen retires with Honors from the Danish Secret Service, she moves into an apartment block in Reykjavik, where she plans to tend to her garden and live out her life in anonymity.
This is a screening of the first episode of a new Danish thriller series, followed by a Q&A with the series' screenwriter Ólafur Egill Egilsson and lead actress Trine Dyrholm.

Benedikt Erlingsson is an Icelandic director, writer, and actor. His first feature film as writer-director, "Of Horses and Men," won over 20 international awards, including the New Directors Prize at the 2013 San Sebastián Film Festival and the 2014 Nordic Council Film Prize. His second feature, "Woman at War," received more than 36 international awards, including the SACD Award at the 57th Semaine de la Critique in Cannes (2018), the LUX Prize of the European Parliament, and the Nordic Council Film Prize the same year.
