“The Bone Breakers” is a heated action mafia film by helmer Vincenzo Pirrotta, reminding us of the Italian classics of the genre, which are a part of the heritage of their cinema history.

The director comments: “The dark story of the bone breakers has stayed with me since the morning it entered my thoughts from a news report on the radio and it became like a sickness to be vanquished.”

Which is why I just had to curate this movie, as it’s one of the best films of this hard-boiled genre ever made.
