Terra Vil
The most important thing is family.
A 12-year-old boy lives on the riverbank with his unstable father, who struggles with alcoholism. Next door lives a woman with her teenage daughters and the boy becomes particularly devoted to them. The five of them form a kind of dysfunctional family, based on the traditional livelihood of fishing and selling lamprey. However, in a year ravaged by drought and the effects of climate change, the business is barely profitable and the father's erratic behaviour makes the situation increasingly untenable.
