An embarrassing problem emerges in a quiet household somewhere in a province of Sri Lanka. The patriarch of a lovely family suddenly dies in front of the TV one fateful night. He experienced something soulfully romantic before his last breath and the most sensitive part of his deceased body still functions without pulse or blood pressure. His two grown sons and a mourning mother are eager to bend down the standing organ to avoid shameful reactions at the funeral.

Brothers don’t mention the painful loss until evening but rumours, suspicion, jealousy, and blackmailing spread fast. Nosy neighbour Kamala is eminently curious. She could see the last mistress-like lady, who visited their father. A local doctor has never witnessed such a riveting lustful diagnosis. Infamous drunken voodooist and chief monk are unable to find alternative solutions. Another step is to make a deal with the coffin maker and chant a mantra. Will brothers have enough time to solve the most unusual farcical task before father's departure to heaven?

Perhaps the funniest Sri Lankan comedy reveals an absurdly arousing situation and provokes loud laughter or slightly calmer giggles. Ilango Ram is sensitive towards Sri Lankan funeral traditions but inventively hilarious with tragicomic mix-ups. Unpleasant complications are boldly handled without lewdness or silliness and laced with witty twists and subtle satire.
