Tanit
Tanit befriends a mysterious woman in the forest and begins to see the world differently.
In Montseny, Catalonia, nestled between mountains and forests, little Tanit eagerly awaits the birth of her sister. Since her mother has to stay in bed due to a high-risk pregnancy, the girl spends more and more time on her own. One day, while searching for her lost dog, Xuc, Tanit meets Perona in the forest. She is a mysterious, solitary woman who the locals consider a witch. A special friendship develops between the two, and Tanit becomes her apprentice, discovering the secrets of the forest by her side. When Tanit’s family is struck by the loss of her sister and Perona’s health starts to deteriorate, the girl must face the fragility of life, loss, and growing up.
