Elsa, 17, hasn't really started living her adolescence yet when she discovers that everything may already be over: she has leukaemia and needs a bone marrow transplant immediately. The only possible donor? Someone whose name she doesn't even know, even less where he is: her father. Accompanying her on the journey in search of the man is Edo, a boy from the hospital, outgoing and irreverent. There doesn't seem to be anything that Elsa and Edo have in common except the same disease, from which he has now almost recovered. Or at least that's what he told her.

Tiziano Russo (1985) , born in Nardò, has just finished filming the ten episodes of the fifth season of SKAM Italia, produced by Cross Production for Netflix and of which he was the sole director. Previously, he excelled in directing short films, documentaries, music videos and commercials. There are numerous top-level musical artists for whom he has directed video clips: Ghali, Francesco Gabbani, Biagio Antonacci, Negramaro, Mina, Chiara, Piotta, Erica Mou, Dear Jack, Dardust and finally Nino Frassica, with the song "A Mare Si Gioca" presented in Sanremo 2016. In 2009 he was director and screenwriter of the short film "Le tegole sul cielo" with Corrado Fortuna, awarded with a special mention by the Roberto Rossellini Institute. His first documentary is "Habemus Mister,'' previewed at Bif&st 2014, the docu-film participated in competition at numerous national and international festivals, closing in September 2016 with the Zimbabwe FilmFest. In 2015 Tiziano shot the short documentary "Un giorno," produced by Apulia Film Commission for the Generation project, and in 2016, for Sky Uno, the documentary "La rivoluzione sta arrivando," which tells the story of the making of Negramaro's latest album. Also for Sky, he directed 8 episodes for the second season of "Sei in un paese meraviglioso," broadcast on Sky Arte, with Dario Vergassola. In 2018 he wrote and directed the short film "L'uomo proibito," which counts numerous participations and awards including the Notorious Project Award (competition for young authors organized by Notorious Pictures) and the RAI Cinema Channel Award at the 2018 European Film Festival as best short film. Tiziano has also directed several commercials including a viral for Jagermeister (2013), the commercial for the Italian National Rugby Team & Associazione Olivia, the commercial for ProudAction (2016) and the Christmas commercial for AS ROMA (2018).
