“Streets of Glória” invites viewers into the vibrant world of Rio, where Gabriel, a young literature teacher, yearns for connection. His adventure begins at The Glória, a lively bar where he forms friendships with its magnetic owner, Monica, and her eclectic crew. Everything shifts when he meets Adriano, a charming male escort, igniting an intense love affair. However, when Adriano mysteriously disappears, Gabriel's infatuation morphs into an obsessive quest for the truth. As he explores Adriano's hidden life, he confronts the dangerous consequences of his desires and the dark reality that love can lead to self-destruction.
Set against the captivating backdrop of Rio, this daring film explores themes of passion, sex work and the journey to self-acceptance.

Felipe Sholl (1982) is a Brazilian screenwriter and film director. He directed and wrote his first feature “The Other End” in 2016. It is about the relationship between a 40+ year old divorcee and a 17-year-old boy. The film won the Best Film Award at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival. Sholl has also written screenplays for several films, including “M-8” (2019) and “Memory House” (2020).
