Stars
Students of a singing, dance and music academy are subjected to strict rules and tough challenges in a climate of strong rivalry while pursuing the dream of becoming show business stars. Lisa and Damiano's clandestine relationship risks costing them the chance to participate in the final contest and they have to decide whether to sacrifice love to achieve success.

Anna Spacio (1995) was born in Mendrisio, Switzerland. She attended the CISA Film Academy in Locarno, where she graduated in 2018 in Filmmaking with a specialisation in Directing. Her graduation short, "Come un'eco" ("Like An Echo"), won the Visa Étranger Award at the Fribourg Film Festival 2019. She has worked on music videos, numerous short films and two feature films, covering the roles of assistant director and production assistant. As a director, she has made a documentary, six short films, several music videos and promotional spots. "Stars - Success At the Risk of Love" is her first feature film. Since 2019 she has been working at RSI, the Swiss National television, as a scriptwriter and, since March 2021, as a filmmaker, working on news and sports programs. She is currently working on writing her second feature film, her first as an author.
