Snow Leopard
This is a story about how people and animals finally get along. A snow leopard breaks into the sheep pen of a nomad and kills nine rams. Father and son then argue: the son insists on killing the snow leopard, but the father insists on releasing it.

Pema Tseden (1969) was a Tibetan director, screenwriter and author. Most of Pema Tseden’s films were shot in Tibetan language by Tibetan teams. Widely recognized as a pioneer of the Tibetan New Wave, Pema Tseden’s body of cinematic works includes ""The Silent Holy Stones"", ""The Search"", ""Old Dog"", ""Jinpa"" and ""Balloon"" amongst others. His films have been selected at Venice FF, Locarno FF, TIFF and many other major international film festivals, winning over forty international prizes. Pema Tseden died from heart failure on 8 May 2023, at the age of 53. He was about to finish the ninth film that would have been both written and directed by himself.
