It's 1947 in Estonia. After the suicide of her friend, young student Marie starts to feel threatened by the Stalinist regime. She tries to find ways to escape across the sea, but it turns out to be more difficult than she expected.

Like stars in space, Vera and astronaut Aleksei, her husband, drift further apart with every unspoken word between them. When the truth finally occurs, a painful void has already taken over their formerly close relationship.

Two low-ranking USSR officers are sent to occupied Estonia on a mission to track down a Captain who apparently went insane after discovering a mysterious radio signal coming from the middle of nowhere.
A young medic tries to save a wounded soldier on a mid-winter battlefield but gets caught in the fire himself. Hovering between life and death, he then finds himself on a spiritual journey to decide whether to keep fighting on or to leave everything behind.
European premiere
A visualisation of my sense perceptions, imagined worlds and memories of the past as the author. The revived images of memories also reflect current reality, as they are inevitably impacted by the experience of the present.
