My Summer with the Shark
School is out and 13-year-old Walter has just lost his father. As he wanders seemingly aimlessly along the Roman coast, it is a fascinating and mysterious place that captures his attention: an abandoned villa with a gigantic, murky swimming pool. But the villa is not unattended, and an unforgettable journey will begin for him.

Davide Gentile , after graduating from the Milano Film School, Davide joined a Production Company in Milan where he decided that his place was behind the camera. He moved to New York City and afterwards to London, where he began working on documentaries and commercials. His work is marked by his great ability to shape characters and personalities in a unique way, delivering some amazing representations of every day’s slices of life. Davide has worked for brands such as Durex, Pepsi, Chevrolet, Red Bull, AT&T, Costa Crociere, AOL and many more. His short film "Mofilm" has won several awards amongst which the International Booktrailer Film Festival. Furthermore, in 2015, he won the second prize at the 2015 Young Director Awards for his amazing BOSE commercial "Music Is My Language".
