Programme

„I am from Estonia,” declares Louis Kahn, one of the most influential architects of the 20th century, in the film “Joy Will Prevail”.

Max Korman’s new biographical drama recounts the final years of Kahn’s life, focusing on the design of his last private house, the Korman House in Pennsylvania, where the director himself grew up and which still belongs to the Korman family.

It is the first US feature film with a protagonist of Estonian origin.

The film crew will attend the open press conference together with lead actor Griffin Dunne, whom wider audiences will know from John Landis’s „An American Werewolf in London” and Martin Scorsese’s „After Hours”. The architect's grandson, Gregory Kahn, will also speak about his grandfather.

Admission is free with a ticket, which you can book below.
