Nostalgia, dreams of love and bittersweet memories are marked by surprising effects that transform the frame with light.

Emre, a man in his early thirties, is moving out of his apartment. His girlfriend Defne talks to him, conjuring up images and uncovering traces of the bittersweet memories of their relationship. With the help of some friends, Emre collects his belongings and says goodbye to the neighbourhood where he was happy. But is he ready to say farewell to his home?

Alican Durbaş, a successful short filmmaker with significant experience as a second unit director (on Charlotte Wells’ “Aftersun”), makes his directorial debut, playing with the magic of the image and paying homage to all the possibilities that light (and its manipulation) offers us, without using any digital effects.

These enchanting and mesmerizing vintage effects serve as narrative resources that fit the melancholic, wandering tone of our main character. Stranded and sinking amidst the walls and the light tricks, he takes us to a place where dreams, memories, and reality converge, enabling us to embark on an intimate journey and become one with the house of light, shadows and reflections.
