A heart-warming children’s film about accepting our differences.

Meissy’s father returns home after years of travelling. Meissy can’t wait to see her dad again but, for some strange reason, her mother forbids her from doing so. Despite her mother’s warnings, Meissy starts spending time with her dad in secret, discovering his odd but playful world. Managing to avoid all obstacles, Meissy spends more and more time with her dad until she discovers why he had to leave his family all those years ago. Although the film handles some serious topics, it is filled with childlike sincerity and, therefore, appropriate for both younger and older audiences.

Suitable for ages 8 and above.
