Julian
A sincere story of family, imagination, and the power of self-expression.
Julian is a boy living at his own speed. He is curious, sensitive, and full of immense joy. After moving to Brooklyn to live with his Dominican grandmother, Julian discovers a new world filled with music, food, the Spanish language, family stories, and magical treasures. While his grandmother teaches him their culture and heritage, Julian helps her see magic in the ordinary. At the same time, Julian must try to remain himself despite the fear of being misunderstood. The parallel journeys of Julian and his grandmother connect two generations, helping them both discover the power of family, their roots, and staying true to oneself.
