A spinal injury destroys a long cherished Olympic dream for Czech professional high diver Andrea Absolonová. She follows her photographer friend to the adult entertainment world and performs in more than 80 porn films as Lea De Mae. Merciless fate brings her the ultimate ordeal – a rare aggressive form of brain cancer. Such an unbelievable true story could inspire three separate films.
Edvinas Pukšta
Natálie Císařovská (1988) graduated in history at Charles University in Prague and Sorbonne in Paris, documentary film under Helena Trestikova at FAMU, Prague. Her main interests lie at the border between documentary and fiction, a border that she trangresses frequently in her work. She focuses on human stories and their peculiar poetic microworlds. "Her Body" is her independently directed feature film.
