A small bra shop with 189 sizes becomes the stage for women’s candid confessions about their lives.
Director Michal Cohen captures the most intimate, candid confessions of women in their search for the perfect bra. Behind the changing room curtain, these women describe their lifelong relationships with their breasts – from the awkwardness of teenage fittings to the sobering realities of mammograms, and ultimately the acceptance of their ageing bodies.
Within the confines of the small changing room, Cohen unpacks vast themes, delving into body confidence, war, gender identity, and so much more. The whole spectrum of contemporary feminism is present, from teenage girls to trans women all describing their complex relationship with their breasts. This funny, sexy and thought-provoking film is a celebration of love, womanhood and the female form, embracing every contour, curve and stretch mark.
