Falling Into Place
Kira and Ian are both in their mid-30s, enjoying a sweet winter weekend escape on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. As the night develops, they notice each other from the other side of the bar and a magical moment happens – they experience, all too briefly, an intense, surprisingly deep romance and connection. Something that seems thrilling and real, like meeting someone you always knew. Everything seems possible, easy, fun, and light. But in the morning, reality hits, fear rises, and life continues as it was. Without knowing that they live in the same city Kira and Ian return to their everyday lives. While the memory of the night haunts them both with a desire to see each other, the fear of taking the leap keeps them apart.
This is the romantic indie film every millennial has been waiting for a very long time. Writer, director, and actress Aylin Tezel has managed to create a film that will make the audience feel warm and hopeful towards love.
