A joyful gang embarks on an enigmatic trip. An engaging homage to the artistry – and the magic – of cinema.

An actress reflecting on her career, a disoriented anthropologist and two legendary divas are among a group of strangers travelling in a mysterious vehicle from which they cannot easily get off. Encounters are inevitable, conversations spark, and life goes on with all its surprises.

Lluís Miñarro, a key producer of auteur cinema (Albert Serra, Lisandro Alonso, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Isabel Coixet, Naomí Kawase, etc.), enjoys the role of a young, rebellious filmmaker who blends visual art, literature and music, drawing inspiration from expressionism, symbolism and Latin American magical realism.

This road movie captures the spirit of Cortázar and the Tibetan Bardo, evoking the cinema of the 1970s through its style and atmosphere. It is an engaging yet bizarre journey between life and death, dream and reality, with catchy lines and intriguing characters. The great Marisa Paredes treats us to her final performance.
