Detective Bruno
8-year old Oskar lives in a family-run children's home. Every day he escapes to the world of his own imagination. His idol is the hero of a tv series, Detective Bruno. On the day of his birthday, the boy receives a treasure-hunt clue left behind by his late parents. Oskar decides to hire Detective Bruno, his favourite TV series character, to solve the quest. Real-life Bruno, the worn- out actor in PR crisis, decides to use Oscar to rebuild his image. They embark on an urban adventure through Warsaw. The journey makes Bruno change his ways and helps Oskar cope with the loss of his parents.

Magdalena Nieć is a graduate of the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Krakow. Scholarship holder of the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts de la Marionnette in France. Her screenwriting debut was the children's film "Behind the Blue Door". She gained experience on the set of the film "Werewolf" (dir. Adrian Panek), where she successfully served as the 2nd director for child actors. She also worked with a children's cast on such projects as "Love Is Everything" and "The Black Mill". In the "Rojst" series, she consulted the acting side of the scene with the participation of young people. For the script for her second feature film, "The Black Mill", which she co-wrote, she received an individual award at the International Children's Film Festival in Moscow. She received a PISF scholarship for the development of her original film project.

Mariusz Palej is a graduate of the Photography School in Warsaw and the Film School in Łódź. Director and cinematographer. For many years, hea has been associated with documentary film. He gained directing experience as the creator of music videos and television series. For several years he has been successfully making films for children and family audiences. “Behind the Blue Door”, his directorial debut turned out to be a successful turnouts (over 250,000 viewers in Polish cinemas) and an artistic success - the film was shown at various national and international festivals, winning awards for the best debut and for the best film. The second film directed by Mariusz - “The Black Mill” was also shown at many festivals and won awards, incl. at the International Children's Film Festival "Schlingel" and the International Children's Film Festival in San Diego.
