Cat Call
When hunting for true love, you should always bring a purr-fectly persistent cat!
Fáni is a 30-year-old architect. Specifically, a 30-year-old single architect whose daily self-fulfilment is accompanied by hints of the clock ticking and her family hoping that she would finally settle down. Fáni doesn't oppose love, but it's a little tricky. Namely, whenever Fáni finds someone even slightly attractive, she foresees his death due to childhood trauma. Since a new handsome young neighbour can be predictable from the times when romantic comedies crowned the cinema industry on Julia Roberts' shoulders, Fáni's new sweetheart will make everyone speechless. What's more, the gentlemanly behaviour of the charming and well-toned cat can melt every woman's heart and cast doubt on the cat allergies of even the most hardened dog people. But who expected the lovely Fáni to choose a rap star cat with a questionable lifestyle?
“Cat Call” creates a gripping layered world filled with humour, the beauty and pain of love, and exquisitely original absurdity. A film that presents a pleasantly refreshing perspective on self-love and human relationships in its utter silliness. So, it doesn't matter whether you believe in finding a talking cat or a soul mate – grab a ticket and get ready for a crazy rollercoaster that helps you leave your worries behind.
