At the beginning of the second season, and three years after the first, we find the main character Uroš Perić in Estonia, living in witness protection program. After forcing Uros to testify against Dardan, Petrit Koci, an Interpol inspector, not only achieved his life goal, and arrested the greatest Balkan drug lord, he became a high position official with a residence in Vienna.
With the death of Dardan's old uncle, the founder of the Berisha clan, Dardan's son, Driton, returns to the Balkans, and takes over the Berisha clan, with a desire to avenge his sister's death. Doing so, he breaks the besa his father gave to Uros.
In the assassination of the Perić family, Uroš survives, while his wife and son die. Uros, utterly destroyed by the loss of his family, a family he would have given anything for, returns to the Balkans with the sole purpose of getting a revenge.
