Arnold Cautious and the Happiness Stone
Julius has a vivid imagination, which worries his parents and his older sister. He is going to start school after the summer, and his family is a bit concerned: how will he fit into the world of school and all its boundaries? Julius’s parents themselves are in the middle of a serious crisis and considering a divorce. Together with his new friend, a “degenerated” vampire Arnold, Julius tries to make a Happiness Stone to solve the issues between his parents and within the family.

Arto Halonen (1964) is an internationally award-winning documentary and fiction film director and producer, who is known for socially strong-stance subjects.
As a tribute to his work, Halonen was awarded the Finlandia Prize in 2005, which is the highest annual cultural prize awarded by the Minister of Education and Culture of Finland. In addition, he has received the City of Helsinki Culture Prize in 2010 as only the third filmmaker ever to receive the prize. Halonen also won the Humanitarian Award of the European Union in 1998. He has also been granted the Finnish National Mental Health Prize and the Civil Action Prize of the Finnish Federation for Social Welfare and Health, and he was the first one to receive the prize from the cultural sector. Halonen is also the founder and the first festival director of Helsinki Documentary Film Festival DocPoint. During Halonen’s tenure, DocPoint became the biggest Nordic documentary film festival and one of the top documentary film festivals internationally.
