Animated Documentaries

It’s cliche, to say “no man is an island”, but it’s always worth taking note of the fact that nothing in this world can really exist independently.

We are tethered, tied up, always intermingling with the people and places that formed us, affecting and being affected by everything around us.

These documentaries all, in some way, depict these ties, which define our shape and can’t really break.

A city street or a mountain full of flowers can inspire art, and this art, in turn, can inspire even more from others who see it.

And though there’s much in the world that works against these attachments—whether it’s the limitations of our mind, a computer screen, or a line on a piece of paper, we still find a way to stay connected amidst the incidents and systems that separate us.

And even if we go off grid or disappear, our bonds still remain. There will always be someone to remember.
