A fantasy comedy about a couple in a marital crisis who find themselves caught in a time loop while on holiday.

A couple (Belén Cuesta ja Berto Romero) in crisis treat themselves to a weekend in a secluded country house. No sooner has the estate agent (Javier Cámara) handed them the keys than all three find themselves trapped in a time loop that endlessly repeats the last five minutes. They will have to learn to live – time and time and again – with the consequences of their actions, rarely for the better and often for the worse.

Javier Ruiz Caldera (“Three Many Weddings”) brilliantly reinvents the well-trodden concept of the time loop, creating a particularly imaginative fantastic comedy that, behind increasingly absurd and catastrophic situations, conceals a thoughtful exploration of relationships and second chances.

The film premiered at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
