Mohamed Zineddaine (1957) is a filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, journalist, and photographer, born in Oued Zem, Morocco. After studying computer science in Nice, he moved to Bologna in 1985 to study cinema at the University of Bologna’s DAMS. He has directed fiction films and documentaries, including “Réveil” (2005), “Do You Remember Adil?” (2008), “Colère” (“Anger”, 2012), and “La Guérisseuse” (“The Healer”, 2018). Alongside filmmaking, Zineddaine has worked in photography and journalism and has taught screenwriting in Bologna since 2013. His films often draw on Moroccan social and cultural realities while reflecting his experience between Morocco and Europe.
