Jamie Adams (1980) is a British filmmaker known for his intimate, improvisation-driven approach to storytelling. His 2015 film "Black Mountain Poets" premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, winning the Critics’ Jury Award, and was also nominated for the Michael Powell Award at the British Independent Film Awards. He went on to direct "Songbird" (2018), "Wild Honey Pie!" (2018), "Love Spreads" (2021). His 2022 "She Is Love" (which was shot in 6 days – quite usual for Adams) was selected for BFI London Film Festival Official Selection. His films have screened at festivals including Edinburgh, South by Southwest, Raindance and Tribeca.
