Osamu Kogure, a day labourer living on the fringes of society, loses his left hand during a robbery orchestrated by his former superior, Inui, who dies on the spot. Osamu manages to survive thanks to the help of a dark doctor from another place, but the lost left hand is now strangely deformed.
