In a cyber-punk comedy for all ages, quarrelling brothers Snot and Splash travel to a small town to visit their granny for winter vacation. It turns out that everything has changed. The boys end up chasing a mysterious hole-stealing thief and find out that the whole town and its villagers are in danger. In the end, our young heroes save, not only the people of Mouthwater but everyone in Elsewhere too. In fact, they save the entire world from getting sucked into a big black hole!
Age recommendation: 6+
The screenings on November 5th and 16th are live dubbed into Estonian.

Teemu Nikki (1975) is a self-educated, award-winning filmmaker and son of a pig farmer from Sysmä, Finland. His film “Euthanizer” (2017) was a festival success and the official Finnish Oscar entry for the 2019 Academy Awards. “The Blind Man Who Did Not Want to See Titanic” (2021) won the Orizzonti Extra Audience Award in Venice. Last year PÖFF screened two of his films – black comedy “Death Is a Problem for the Living” and family film “Snot and Splash”. Nikki has also directed numerous short films and popular series. Nikki’s style is best described as a good-willed yet unapologetic political satire of humanity.
