Пока вся страна соблюдает карантин, три незнакомых друг другу мужчины, переживающих кризис среднего возраста, случайно встречаются в баре в центре Хельсинки. В течение ночи они вместе разбираются в жизненных ситуациях с целью получить советы и приобрести силы для дальнейшего жизненного пути.
Mika Kaurismäki (1955) studied at the Munich Academy for Television and Film in 1977–81. He has worked as a producer and director since 1980. His first film “The Liar” (1980) was an overnight sensation and it marked the beginning of the cinema of the Kaurismäki brothers and started a new era in the Finnish cinema. Mika is the co-founder of the legendary Midnight Sun Film Festival and the founder of the production company Marianna Films in 1987. Mika’s “Three Wise Men” (2008) and “Gracious Night” were screened in the PÖFF competition programme. He has made over 30 full-length feature films.
