A heartwarming tale of love between a wild otter and a human in picturesque Scotland.

Billy, Susan, and their dog Jade decide to relocate to a remote and breathtakingly beautiful Scottish island to break their routine and perhaps fill the void in Billy’s heart. One day, an otter desperately in need of help washes up on his jetty, quickly becomes part of the family, and gets named Molly. The bond between Molly and Billy is formed in an instant, filling Billy’s life with joy and rekindling his lost spark. However, as winter approaches, he must come to terms with the fact that love entails painful sacrifices.

This gorgeous National Geographic production tells a charming, funny, and unforgettable story about an extraordinary friendship between a human and an animal, starring an adorable otter that steals the show and the viewers’ hearts.
