Ludovic Boukherma was born on 5 June 1992 in Marmande, France, just like his twin brother Zoran Boukherma. Passionate about cinema from an early age, they studied at La Cité du Cinéma in Paris. It was there that they met Hugo P. Thomas and Marielle Gautier, with whom they made the comedy-drama film “Willy 1st”, which won the Prix d’Ornano for Best First Feature. In 2019, they co-directed the fantasy/werewolf comedy “Teddy” as a duo. The twins then shot their third feature film: “Year of the Shark”. Once again, a genre film mixed with comedy. They were then approached by Hugo Sélignac and Alain Attal to adapt Nicolas Mathieu's novel “And Their Children After Them”.
