HÕFF will be postponed or held online
Following the declaration of an emergency situation in Estonia, Haapsalu Horror and Fantasy Film Festival will be postponed or held online.
The festival organisers are closely monitoring the Estonian Health Board’s announcements and the government’s orders and will act accordingly. If the emergency situation should end by May 1st, the festival may still be held in decreased length from Friday, May 1st to Sunday, May 3rd.
As an option, the festival will consider screening films through internet platforms. “HÕFF will take place either way, we just don’t know where and in what form,” said Tiina Lokk, director of the Black Nights Film Festival responsible for organising HÕFF.
The Haapsalu Horror and Fantasy Film Festival was meant to take place from April 30 to May 3rd.
